Bally’s Intralot Secures Chile Lottery Deal
Bally’s Intralot has secured a long-term agreement with Polla Chilena de Beneficencia to deliver lottery, sports betting and digital transformation solutions, following a competitive tender process. The contract will run for up to 12 years, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
The deal marks a major step in modernising the Chilean lottery operator’s technology infrastructure. As part of the project, Bally’s Intralot will migrate Polla Chilena’s existing systems onto its LotosX Omni platform, with the transition expected to take place without interrupting current services.
The initiative is designed to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen technological capabilities and improve the overall user experience. By integrating retail and digital channels, the operator aims to offer a consistent omnichannel experience across both physical locations and online platforms.
Under the agreement, Bally’s Intralot will deploy a suite of proprietary solutions. These include the LotosX system for lottery management, PlayerX for account handling, RetailerX for retail network optimization and Orion for sports betting operations.
The rollout will also involve upgrades to Polla Chilena’s retail infrastructure, including the installation of approximately 2,500 new lottery terminals equipped with advanced features. In parallel, the operator’s digital platforms, including its website and mobile applications, will be updated as part of the broader modernisation effort.
The partnership is intended to support scalability and enable the introduction of new products and services over time, while improving productivity and long-term growth prospects.
Alongside its commercial objectives, the agreement also reinforces Polla Chilena’s role as a state lottery with a social mission, ensuring that its services remain aligned with public expectations as the organisation evolves technologically.
Overall, the collaboration reflects ongoing trends in the global lottery sector, where operators are investing in digital transformation and integrated platforms to remain competitive.
