Betika Partners Playson for Kenya iGaming Launch
Betika has entered into a partnership with Playson to expand its iGaming content offering in East Africa, introducing the supplier’s games to players in Kenya and Uganda. The agreement marks Playson’s entry into the Kenyan market through collaboration with an established regional operator.
As part of the deal, Betika will integrate a selection of Playson’s casino titles into its platform, broadening its content portfolio. The rollout reflects ongoing growth in East Africa’s iGaming sector, where operators are increasingly incorporating international content to enhance their offerings across multiple markets.
The initial game lineup includes titles such as Thunder Coins: Hold and Win, 4 Pots Riches: Hold and Win and Coin Strike: Hold and Win, all of which have been distributed in other regulated jurisdictions. The integration has been facilitated through the Markor Technology aggregation platform, supporting efficient content delivery and scalability.
Betika’s presence across the region positions it as a key channel for third-party suppliers looking to enter African markets. For Playson, the partnership represents a strategic move to expand its footprint by leveraging local operators with established player bases and regulatory knowledge.
To support its entry, Playson has adjusted its platform and infrastructure to meet local compliance requirements, reflecting the importance of localisation and regulatory alignment in emerging markets.
The agreement strengthens Betika’s content offering while contributing to Playson’s broader strategy of entering regulated markets through operator partnerships, as East Africa continues to attract interest from global suppliers.
Conor Jenner, Senior Sales Manager at Playson, said: “Entering the Kenyan market is an important step for us, and partnering with Betika provides a strong foundation for our content. Their market presence and player insight support a smooth rollout and positive user experience.
We have aligned our systems with local requirements to ensure compliance and performance and we look forward to growing further within the region.”
Peter Stagles, Group Chief Product Officer at Betika, added: “Working with Playson allows us to enhance our platform with a well-established portfolio. We remain focused on delivering high-quality entertainment by collaborating with leading suppliers and tailoring our offering to local audiences.”
