FIRST.bet Integrates Sportsbook with Grupo Slots in Argentina

Sports betting provider FIRST.bet has entered a new phase of its Argentine expansion after partnering with Grupo Slots and integrating its sportsbook technology into Jugadon.bet.ar.

Under the agreement, Grupo Slots can offer FIRST.bet as the sportsbook solution for one of its brands within Argentina’s regulated gambling market.

The integration represents another step in FIRST.bet’s development under Argentina’s provincial licensing structure. Grupo Slots selected the provider based on its trading and risk management capabilities, as well as tools designed around the preferences of Argentine players.

FIRST.bet and Grupo Slots Emphasise Operational Strength

Tom Light, founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, highlighted Grupo Slots’ established position in Argentina and said the partnership reflects the operational requirements involved in working with a regulated operator.

“Grupo Slots is an established and regulated operator in Argentina; this is not someone testing the waters. When a group of this scale brings on a sports betting partner, it is not simply about changing providers, but about having genuinely robust operational and risk management capabilities. That is precisely what we offer, and it represents another step in the seriousness with which we are developing our presence in Argentina,” Light said.

Lucas Baffetti, Commercial Manager at Grupo Slots, said the integration is expected to support the development of Jugadon.bet.ar while enhancing its user experience.

“Choosing First.bet’s sports betting platform represents a growth opportunity for Jugadon.bet.ar. It strengthens our gamification tools and improves the user experience, which we expect to translate into greater player loyalty,” Baffetti said.

Joint Implementation to Support Jugadon.bet.ar

Baffetti also pointed to the joint work between the two companies during the implementation of the sportsbook technology.

“We are implementing this solution through a joint effort; this collaboration will allow us to make the most of First.bet’s technology, generating benefits throughout the value chain,” he added.

The partnership combines FIRST.bet’s sportsbook technology with Grupo Slots’ existing sports betting operations in Argentina. The implementation focuses on sportsbook functionality, risk management and regional capabilities for customers using the site.

FIRST.bet Develops Its Latin American Commercial Strategy

The agreement follows the appointment of Victor Arias as Vice President of LATAM and Head of Commercial LATAM at FIRST.bet.

Arias previously held the position of regional development director at Pragmatic Play and is now responsible for FIRST.bet’s commercial expansion across Latin America.

His responsibilities include developing a regional strategy that addresses individual market and regulatory conditions. The Grupo Slots agreement adds another Argentine operation as FIRST.bet continues expanding its regional presence.
