Games Global Enters Alberta iGaming Market
Games Global has expanded its North American operations by entering Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market, extending the supplier’s Canadian reach beyond Ontario.
The move follows the official launch of Alberta’s regulated iGaming sector, which has become Canada’s second regulated jurisdiction after Ontario and presents new opportunities for operators and suppliers.
Games Global entered the market after obtaining a licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission. The approval allows the supplier to build on its existing Canadian presence, with its studio network and wider content portfolio already established in Ontario.
Alberta players will gain access to several of Games Global’s established slot titles, including Gold Blitz™, 12 Masks of Fire™ and Fishin’ Pots of Gold™.
The supplier will also bring premium table games to the province through content already developed and distributed in Canada via its exclusive live casino partner, OnAir Entertainment™.
The Alberta launch forms part of Games Global’s wider North American expansion strategy. The company has already developed a presence across Ontario and regulated US states through partnerships with tier-one operators.
Mark MacCombie, Chief Commercial Officer at Games Global, said:
“The opening of Alberta’s iGaming market is an exciting opportunity for Games Global. We have already established a strong presence in Ontario, where our content has proven resonant with players and we are confident Alberta will build on this momentum. North America remains a key strategic focus for us, and we will continue to work closely with both our valued operator partners and our exclusive studios to deliver exceptional gaming experiences to players across the continent’s regulated markets.”
