Habanero Launches Battle The Beast Viking Slot
Habanero has expanded its slot portfolio with Battle The Beast, a high-volatility title built around a Viking-themed confrontation between Viking Wilds and the Beast Scatter.
The game centres on a series of duels that can alter the reels and create additional winning opportunities as the battle develops.
Reel-Changing Duels Drive Gameplay
When a duel is won, the winning symbol expands across an entire reel. This changes the reel configuration and creates further possibilities for winning combinations.
If multiple Beast symbols spread across different reels, they can lock the battlefield and trigger a free Respin. Chaining enough encounters during the feature can then unlock the Free Games bonus.
Roaming Wild Reel and Global Multiplier
During Free Games, a complete Wild reel moves across the reels and pursues the Beast with every spin.
Each successful Viking victory increases a global multiplier. The multiplier stays active until the battle concludes, allowing wins to build throughout the bonus feature.
Battle The Beast also includes Habanero’s Jackpot Race™, Buy Feature and Super Bet options, providing operators with additional ways to offer the game to different player preferences.
Habanero Adds Another Feature-Led Title
The release adds to Habanero’s range of feature-focused games, including Prosperity Horse and Galaxy Babies. These titles combine themed settings with mechanics designed to build momentum throughout gameplay.
Toni Karapetrov, Head of Corporate Communications at Habanero, said the duel mechanic gives individual encounters the ability to influence how each spin develops.
He also highlighted the roaming Wild reel and expanding global multiplier as features that add another layer to the bonus experience, describing Battle The Beast as a combination of its distinctive theme and gameplay mechanics.
