Paradise Co Reports Sharp Rise in April Casino Revenue
Paradise Co reported a sharp increase in casino revenue for April, with monthly earnings nearly doubling compared to March. The South Korean casino operator generated KRW87.9 billion (US$60.4 million) in casino revenue during the month, representing an 80.6% increase month-on-month and a 30.7% rise compared to April 2025.
The strong result came even though table drop growth remained relatively moderate. Table drop, which measures the amount exchanged for gaming chips, reached KRW652.1 billion (US$451 million) in April. That figure increased 4.5% year-on-year and 7.0% from March. The difference between the slower rise in drop and the much stronger revenue growth suggests Paradise benefited from improved table performance during the month.
Table Games Lead Monthly Growth
Table games continued to be the main driver of the company’s casino performance in April. Revenue from the segment climbed to KRW82.2 billion (US$56.8 million), up 89.9% compared to March and 29.1% higher than the same month last year.
Machine revenue also improved, although at a slower pace than table games. The segment generated KRW5.73 billion (US$4.0 million), representing a 59.7% increase year-on-year and a 5.8% rise from the previous month. While smaller in contribution, machine revenue still supported the company’s overall monthly gains.
The results indicate that operating conditions were particularly favorable for Paradise in April. Revenue growth significantly outpaced the increase in table drop, reflecting a stronger performance at the gaming tables compared to earlier months.
Year-To-Date Performance
For the first four months of 2026, Paradise recorded cumulative casino revenue of KRW316.8 billion (US$219 million), marking an 8.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Paradise operates casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju. The company also owns a controlling 55% stake in Paradise City, the integrated resort in Incheon operated in partnership with Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings. These venues continue to form the foundation of the company’s casino operations.
Strong April Momentum
April’s performance reflected a particularly strong month for table games, while machine revenue also delivered steady growth. The latest figures showed casino revenue rising much faster than table drop, making April one of the company’s strongest months so far this year.
The company’s results highlighted continued momentum across its casino portfolio, supported mainly by stronger table game performance and stable contributions from gaming machines.
