PG Soft Launches Azteca Legacy Slot with Rising Multipliers

PG Soft has launched Azteca Legacy, a new mobile slot that takes players into an ancient jungle temple, combining cascading wins, a four-position Wild mechanic and a Free Spins feature built around increasing multipliers.

The seven-reel video slot award wins when five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or diagonally. Winning symbols then explode from the reels, allowing new symbols to fall into place and potentially create further winning combinations.

Wild symbols can replace any regular symbol except the Free Spin symbol.

4-Corner Sync Feature Drives Main Game

A central mechanic in Azteca Legacy is the 4-Corner Sync feature, which uses four golden positions located on reels two and six.

At the beginning of each main game spin, these positions display a randomly selected symbol. If that symbol contributes to a winning combination, all four golden positions transform into Wilds for the following round.

The positions return to revealing random symbols once one of the Wilds becomes part of a winning combination. This creates a recurring feature that can bring additional Wilds into subsequent spins.

Unlock Six Positions to Activate Free Spins

The route to the Free Spins Feature begins around the centre of the reels. Six positions surrounding the Free Spin symbol start each main game spin locked, preventing the central symbol from activating.

Whenever a winning symbol lands next to a locked position horizontally or diagonally, that position unlocks. Once all six have been opened, the Free Spin symbol becomes active and awards 10 free spins.

Central Wild Builds an Increasing Multiplier

During free spins, the central Free Spin symbol transforms into a Wild carrying an initial x1 multiplier. It remains in place throughout the feature, while all four golden positions stay Wild for the entire round.

Whenever the central Wild contributes to a win, the corresponding payout receives the multiplier. Its value then increases by one for the next round, allowing the multiplier to build as the feature progresses.

Players can also extend the bonus round through the +2 Free Spin symbol. Landing this symbol anywhere on the reels awards two additional spins.

Ante Bet and Game Specifications

Azteca Legacy includes an Ante Bet option that increases the wager fivefold. In return, all four golden positions are guaranteed to contain Wilds on every main game spin, making the Free Spins Feature five times more likely to trigger.

The game has a 96.75% RTP and high volatility, with a maximum win of 10,000 times the bet.
