PhilWeb Signs Exclusive Games Global Partnership

PhilWeb Corp. has entered into an exclusive partnership with gaming content and technology supplier Games Global, further expanding its footprint in the Philippines’ regulated online gaming industry.

The listed company said the agreement will allow licensed gaming operators in the country to access Games Global’s hosted gaming services through PhilWeb, subject to regulatory approvals and the completion of contractual requirements.

Partnership Strengthens Digital Offering

In a disclosure submitted to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Friday, PhilWeb described Games Global as a business-to-business provider of hosted gaming services and technology solutions. The company delivers a broad portfolio of gaming content and related products to regulated operators worldwide through scalable API integrations.

PhilWeb did not reveal the financial details of the agreement or identify any operators that have already signed up to use the services.

The partnership forms part of PhilWeb’s broader strategy to strengthen its position as a technology and infrastructure provider within the Philippines’ regulated online gaming sector following changes to its ownership structure earlier this year.

Expansion Through Strategic Partnerships

The Games Global agreement follows another exclusive deal announced earlier this month with casino content provider Pragmatic Play. Under that arrangement, PhilWeb will also distribute Pragmatic Play’s gaming portfolio to licensed operators in the Philippines, pending the necessary regulatory approvals.

Prior to these agreements, the company secured partnerships supporting the online gaming operations of several major casino operators, including Newport World Resorts, Okada Manila, Hann Casino Resort and FBM Philippines.

These collaborations reflect PhilWeb’s ongoing efforts to expand its portfolio of technology, content and managed services for licensed gaming businesses.

Company Continues Business Transformation

The latest announcement comes during a period of significant corporate change for PhilWeb, including adjustments to its shareholder structure and the appointment of new board members.

Among the new investors is businessman Lance Gokongwei, who recently acquired a personal stake in the company.

PhilWeb has stated that its long-term strategy is centred on providing digital gaming infrastructure and online gaming solutions for licensed operators, with the Games Global partnership representing another step toward that objective.

Focus Remains on the Regulated Sector

Rather than operating gambling services directly, PhilWeb continues to position itself as a platform and technology provider serving licensed gaming companies.

By expanding its network of international content suppliers and domestic casino partners, the company is strengthening its role within the regulated online gaming ecosystem while continuing to broaden its service offering for the Philippine market.
