Play’n GO Launches Urban Slot Primal Rampage

Play’n GO has introduced Primal Rampage, a 3-reel video slot that places players in the middle of a city overwhelmed by a giant ape and urban destruction.

Set against a backdrop of flashing alarms, damaged streets and towering skyscrapers, the game swaps traditional jungle scenery for a modern city environment filled with military equipment, neon lights and collapsing infrastructure. The release centres around a massive ape character that dominates the skyline as chaos unfolds across the reels.

Primal Rampage features a compact 3-reel layout designed to deliver fast-paced gameplay. Features such as Rage Symbols, Vaults and the Primal Wheel contribute to the game’s action-driven style, while Kong Quest and King Spin Free Spins introduce expanding reels, broken vault mechanics and additional visual effects tied to the ape’s destruction across the city.

The artwork focuses heavily on scale and impact, with burning streets, reinforced vaults and scattered military hardware creating a cinematic atmosphere. Symbols include tanks, fighter jets, communication devices, glowing Wilds and Rage icons, all reinforcing the game’s industrial and high-energy theme.

Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said the goal behind Primal Rampage was to create a bold city setting centred around a visually dominant ape character with strong screen presence and clear visual identity.

With its monster-movie inspiration, urban setting and heavy visual style, Primal Rampage adds another high-impact release to Play’n GO’s 2026 slot portfolio.
