Playson Launches 3 Roaring Bells: Hold and Win

Playson has expanded its slot portfolio with 3 Roaring Bells: Hold and Win, a new release that combines a classic slot aesthetic with multiple bonus mechanics built around its established Hold and Win format.

During the base game, coloured Bell symbols are collected by matching Bells positioned above the reels. When one or more Special Bells appear, they can randomly activate bonus features, with several mechanics potentially operating together.

Three Special Bells control the available features: Expand, Double and Extra.

The red Special Bell activates Expand, adding two rows to the playing grid. The green Special Bell triggers Double, marking four positions where any symbols that land have their values doubled. If Expand is also active, the number of marked positions increases to six.

The blue Special Bell launches Extra. Once the Bonus Game concludes, another round begins immediately, carrying forward any features that were active when the previous round started.

Hold and Win Bonus Mechanics

The Bonus Game starts with three respins. Each Bell symbol that lands resets the counter to three, giving players additional opportunities to continue the feature.

Collect Symbols can also appear on the middle reel. Once triggered, they remain in position for the rest of the round and collect the values of subsequent Bell symbols, with collected values reaching up to 8x.

Jackpot symbols add another potential reward, with Mini, Minor, Major and Grand Jackpot prizes available. The maximum jackpot reaches 1,000x.

Players can also enter the bonus feature through the Extra Bonus Feature. Any Bell symbol landing during the main game can activate this option, adding enough Bonus and Collect symbols to trigger the Bonus Game.

Bonus Purchase Options

Playson offers both a standard Bonus Game and a Super Bonus Game for purchase. The Super Bonus costs 200x and guarantees that all three Special Bell features will activate during the round.

With 3 Roaring Bells: Hold and Win, Playson continues to develop its established slot series by combining familiar gameplay with additional ways to shape the bonus experience.

Anton Ivannikov, CPO at Playson, said: “3 Roaring Bells: Hold and Win gives us another opportunity to evolve a familiar formula by introducing features that can change the shape of the Bonus Game in different ways. Expand, Double and Extra each bring their own character, from opening up additional space on the grid to enhancing Bell values and extending the action into another round. Combined with the nostalgic theme and returning Hold and Win mechanic, we have created a title that feels familiar while offering plenty of new elements to discover.”
