Playson Launches Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin Slot

Playson has released Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin, bringing its MULTICOIN mechanic back in an expanded version of the Coin Strike series.

The feature previously appeared in Thunder Coins XXL: Multicoin and returns with a new combination of Coin collection mechanics, multipliers, jackpots, respins and bonus features.

MULTICOIN Feature Adds Multipliers

The lightning-themed MULTICOIN symbols activate the MULTICOIN Feature when they land alongside any Coin Symbol.

During the feature, the MULTICOIN gathers the values of all Coins in play before applying a multiplier of up to x20 to the accumulated amount.

A MULTICOIN can also be added randomly to reel two when Coin symbols land without one. This can activate the MULTICOIN Feature or create another route into the Bonus Game.

Collect Feature Includes Jackpot Coins

The game also includes the Collect Feature, which is triggered when a Strike Coin lands alongside another Coin.

When activated, the Strike Coin collects the values of all Coins on the reels, including Jackpot Coins. The collected amount is then added to the win for that spin in the Main Game or to the Total Win during the Bonus Game.

Four jackpots can be awarded through corresponding coloured Jackpot Coins, ranging from a x15 Mini jackpot to a x1,000 Grand jackpot.

Respins Drive the Bonus Game

The Bonus Game can be triggered when Coin symbols land on reels one and three together with either a Strike Coin or MULTICOIN.

During the feature, only Coins, sticky Strike Coins and sticky MULTICOINS can appear. Players begin with three respins, with every new symbol resetting the counter back to three.

When all respins have been used, the values of all Strike Coins and MULTICOINS are added to the Total Win.

The Pile of Gold feature provides another way to enter the Bonus Game. It can be randomly triggered by any Coin symbol and adds multiple Coins, Strike Coins or MULTICOINS to the reels.

Bonus Buy and Extra Bet Options Return

Coin Strike XXL: Multicoin also includes two Bonus Games available for purchase.

The title features two Extra Bet options. One doubles the chance of activating the Bonus Game, while the other guarantees either a Strike Coin or MULTICOIN on every spin and triples the chance of triggering the Bonus Game.

Anton Ivannikov, CPO at Playson, said the return of the MULTICOIN mechanic, together with the XXL format and dual Collect Features, allows the game to retain familiar elements while introducing additional mechanics.

The release expands Playson’s Coin Strike series by combining the established MULTICOIN feature with Coin collection, jackpots, respins and multiple Bonus Game entry options.
