Pragmatic Play Launches Gates of Olympus POP

Pragmatic Play has introduced Gates of Olympus POP, a new version of its established Gates of Olympus franchise and the first title in a series of classic games being adapted for the supplier's recently launched Pragmatic Play POP sub-brand.

The new release presents the familiar Greek mythology-inspired theme in a different format, featuring a miniature version of Zeus on a portrait-style 3×5 grid.

The game retains several mechanics associated with Gates of Olympus, including tumbling reels and multiplier symbols, with multiplier values reaching up to 1,000x.

Free Spins and Progressive Multipliers

The bonus game is activated when three or more scatter symbols land, awarding players 15 free spins.

Landing two or more additional scatter symbols during the feature awards five extra spins.

Winning multipliers collected during the bonus round are added to a progressive total. That accumulated multiplier is then applied at the conclusion of each tumbling sequence.

The game also includes additional rewards linked to POP symbols appearing alongside scatters when the bonus feature is triggered.

Activating the feature with one POP symbol awards an instant prize of 50x. Two POP symbols result in a 500x instant prize, while three POP symbols award 25,000x.

A New Format for an Established Franchise

Gates of Olympus POP marks the beginning of a new approach for the Gates of Olympus series, adapting its established setting and central character to a new game format.

The release maintains the franchise's Greek mythology theme while introducing a portrait-oriented design intended to provide a more accessible and streamlined gameplay experience.

Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said the title offers a different interpretation of one of the supplier's best-known franchises.

She said Gates of Olympus POP combines the series' familiar formula with a streamlined format focused on fast-paced and intuitive gameplay.

According to McHugh, the title includes progressive multipliers, instant prizes of up to 25,000x and a redesigned version of Zeus, offering a new experience for both existing followers of the franchise and players discovering it for the first time.
