SlotMatrix adds Muertos Fortune to exclusive slot lineup

SlotMatrix, the global casino content aggregation platform, has expanded its exclusive catalogue with the addition of Muertos Fortune, a vibrant slot themed around the colour, rhythm and symbolism of Day of the Dead celebrations.

The game places players in an animated, festival-style setting where music and visual flair build momentum with every spin, driving engagement toward higher rewards.

At the heart of the gameplay is the Money Collector mechanic, centred on the Muertos symbol appearing on the fifth reel. This symbol gathers cash values from piñata prizes positioned across the reels, combining them to increase payouts and unlock further winning potential.

Another core feature is the Perceived Persistence mechanic. Piñata prizes that land but are not immediately collected contribute charge to a large skull positioned above the reels. Once fully charged, the skull explodes to activate the Free Spins round.

During Free Spins, players benefit from enhanced Muertos collections, increased piñata values and opportunities for multiple retriggers, transforming accumulated anticipation into high-impact payout opportunities.

Muertos Fortune is available exclusively via SlotMatrix and incorporates EveryMatrix’s gamification toolkit, including free spins, tournaments and leaderboard functionality. The title can also be deployed alongside EngageSuite, the company’s full-scale player loyalty platform.

Commenting on the launch, Carl Gatt Baldacchino, Head of Account Management at SlotMatrix, said the title draws directly from Mexican cultural themes, describing it as a high-energy release that aligns well with the aggregator’s expanding exclusive portfolio.
