Spinomenal Launches Baba Yaga’s Rising Slot

Spinomenal has expanded its folklore-themed game collection with Baba Yaga’s Rising, a new slot inspired by Slavic mythology. The 5×3 game features 50 paylines, a series of Wild-based mechanics and four distinct Free Spins modes built around characters from folklore.

Set in a shadowy forest surrounded by twisted branches and pale toadstools, the slot places Baba Yaga at the centre of its gameplay as the main Wild symbol. She substitutes for every symbol except the Bonus and awards a payout of x1,000 the bet per line when five appear together.

Among the regular symbols, Rusalka offers the highest payout at x500 for five of a kind. The dragon follows at x400, while the hut pays x200.

The Bonus symbol features a moon behind bare branches and can land only on reels one, three and five during the base game. Collecting three Bonus symbols activates Free Spins, awarding either five or ten spins depending on the mode selected next.

The base game also includes Stacked Wild Rising. When any section of a stacked Wild lands on the centre reel, a respin sequence begins. The three-symbol-high Wild moves up one row after each respin until it leaves the grid. Its initial landing position determines the number of respins, which can range from one to five.

Four folklore-themed Free Spins modes

A four-stage map guides players through the bonus journey, with progress advancing whenever the Free Spins feature is triggered. Each stage introduces a different mechanic associated with one of the game's folklore characters.

• Morozko – Winning Symbols Re-Spin: Winning symbols remain locked in place while the other positions are cleared and refilled. The sequence continues as long as new winning symbols appear, with only the final respin paying out.

• The Hut – Shifting Wild: A stacked Wild begins on reel one and moves one reel to the right following each unsuccessful spin. If a win occurs, the Wild stays in position and another spin is awarded.

• The Dragon – Expanding Wilds: Whenever the dragon's stacked symbol lands, it expands to cover an entire reel as a Wild. No other Wild symbols appear during this mode.

• Rusalka – Extra Wilds: A sticky Wild occupies the second row of the centre reel for the duration of the feature, while between two and six additional single Wilds are distributed across the reels during spins.

The five-Wild combination retains its x1,000 bet-per-line payout across all four Free Spins modes.
