BC.GAME Enters Nigeria with Local Gaming Licence
BC.GAME has officially entered the Nigerian iGaming market after obtaining a sports betting and casino licence from the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority. The move marks the operator’s expansion into another regulated African jurisdiction.
The platform is now live through a dedicated local domain, providing Nigerian users with access to both sportsbook and casino services. This development represents BC.GAME’s second regulated market launch, following its earlier licensing approval in Kenya, as part of its broader international growth strategy.
Nigeria continues to attract operators due to its expanding digital landscape, driven by increasing internet access, strong mobile usage and growing demand for online betting and entertainment. Regulation is managed at the state level, with authorities such as the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority overseeing licensing and compliance.
BC.GAME’s offering in the country includes a selection of casino games alongside sports betting options, with payments supported in local currency. The company has also introduced updates to its platform, including changes to navigation, additional user support features and clearer communication around account management and transactions.
Further adjustments have been made to improve transparency, with expanded guidance and informational resources covering key platform functions. These updates reflect ongoing efforts within the industry to meet regulatory standards while enhancing user experience in newly regulated markets.
The Nigerian launch forms part of BC.GAME’s wider plan to strengthen its presence in licensed jurisdictions. Alongside Nigeria and Kenya, the operator also holds a licence in Anjouan as it continues to build its regulatory footprint.
CEO Kar Kheng Giam commented: “As we expand into regulated markets like Nigeria, we are focused on improving clarity and consistency across the platform. Ensuring users can easily understand and navigate our services is a key priority.
“Nigeria represents a market with strong engagement in sports and growing interest in digital gaming. This launch allows us to bring those elements together as part of our long-term development strategy.”
