Belatra Launches Brother CrossBolt Gothic Slot Game

Belatra has expanded its online slot portfolio with Brother CrossBolt, a gothic-themed release that takes players on a vampire hunt through a dark, atmospheric world filled with cascading wins, revolver-powered multipliers and special features.

Drawing on traditional horror stories, the game centres on a hunter equipped with a mysterious medallion. When danger pushes him to his limits, the medallion awakens his inner werewolf, sending him into the fog in pursuit of supernatural enemies.

Brother CrossBolt uses a cascading system in which winning symbols disappear from the reels, allowing new icons to fall into their positions. Oversized symbols measuring 2×2 and 3×3 can appear during any spin, representing groups of matching icons. If they contribute to a winning combination, they break apart and make room for another cascade.

Two special symbols drive the multiplier mechanics: the Silver Revolver and the Golden Revolver. When either lands, its chambers open to reveal multipliers ranging from x2 to x100. These values feed into a Global Multiplier that increases with each successive cascade, creating opportunities for larger payouts as a winning sequence continues.

The game also features Hero Boosters that can intervene when a spin produces no win. The Bomb removes surrounding non-paying symbols to initiate a new cascade, while Change upgrades lower-value symbols into higher-paying alternatives.

Four Scatter symbols activate Free Games. During this feature, the Global Multiplier carries forward between spins instead of resetting, allowing it to accumulate throughout the round. In its later stages, a rare Red Revolver containing six x100 multipliers can appear, filling the Golden Revolver’s chambers and significantly boosting the Global Multiplier as the feature approaches its conclusion.

For a more intense experience, players can activate Hot Mode, which starts with a higher multiplier and features more active symbols and more frequent Hero Boosters. The mode offers access to the game’s maximum win of 25,000x.

Additional options allow players to enter specific features without waiting for them to trigger naturally. The Buy Bonus provides access to standard Free Games, Hot Mode or guaranteed revolver waves, while the Bet +25% option increases the frequency of Scatter symbols during the base game.

Misha Voinich, Head of Business Development at Belatra, highlighted the release’s atmosphere and gameplay mechanics, saying:

“Brother CrossBolt is one of the darkest worlds we’ve built so far, and the soundscape pulls players into the action. Underneath all that gothic atmosphere sits a revolver-powered multiplier system that grows with every cascade. With Giant Symbols, Hero Boosters and the Red Revolver adding further excitement, players can look forward to a thrilling experience packed with twists, surprises and opportunities for big wins.”
