Betnacional Renews Sport Recife Women’s Team Sponsorship
Betnacional has confirmed the extension of its sponsorship agreement with the women’s football team of Sport Club do Recife for the 2026 season. The renewed partnership comes as the club prepares to compete in the Brazilian Women’s Championship Série A2, which begins on March 14.
The continuation of the agreement supports the club’s broader ambitions to strengthen its presence in women’s football competitions. For Betnacional, the partnership also reflects a wider strategy focused on supporting sports development in Brazil, particularly initiatives that promote opportunities for female athletes and professionals.
Marketing Activations Planned
As part of the sponsorship renewal, several marketing activation initiatives are scheduled throughout the 2026 season. These campaigns aim to increase the visibility of Sport Recife’s women’s team and strengthen engagement with supporters.
Under the agreement, the Betnacional brand will remain linked to the team across the full season, accompanying the club during its participation in national competitions. The partnership also includes promotional activities designed to raise the profile of the women’s squad during the tournaments in which it will compete.
Executives Emphasize Strategic Value
Jorge Peixoto, Head of Sponsorships at Betnacional, highlighted the importance of the initiative and the growing relevance of women’s football in Brazil.
“We are very proud to extend our partnership with Sport’s women’s football team. We believe in the potential of the squad and in the strength of the club’s red-and-black jersey within this discipline as well.
Investing in Brazilian women’s football is a strategic decision and above all, a commitment to the future of a sport that has been growing every year in Brazil.
We are approaching a Women’s World Cup that will be held in Brazil, a historic milestone that will further boost a sport that has already won Olympic medals and achieved historic results in World Cups.
It is essential that companies and institutions support this movement now, strengthening clubs, athletes and the entire structure that sustains the growth of women’s football.”
From the club’s perspective, the agreement also plays a key role in supporting the development of the women’s team.
Henrique Aguiar, Marketing and Business Executive at Sport Recife, said: “The expansion of the partnership with Betnacional is a strategic and very symbolic move for Sport.
When a master sponsor decides to invest in women’s football as well, it is not just expanding brand exposure it is strengthening a project, believing in structured growth and contributing to the development of the sport as a whole.
We will continue working to ensure that Sport’s women’s football grows with organization, competitiveness and leadership.”
