Century Entertainment Expands Philippine Gaming Platform
Century Entertainment International Holdings has expanded its online gaming platform in the Philippines, launching operations across seven gaming venues as part of the next phase of its joint venture with local partner World Platinum Technologies Inc. (WPT). The latest rollout builds on the deployment agreement signed between the two companies in April.
The partnership, established in July 2025, is structured with Century Entertainment holding a 51% stake and WPT owning the remaining 49%. The joint venture was created to develop and distribute WPT’s gaming platform technology throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
WPT, a PAGCOR-accredited service provider licensed to supply electronic gaming machines, gaming content and related services, continues to manage contractual relationships with gaming venues. Meanwhile, the joint venture is responsible for providing the platform technology, game logic and Return to Player (RTP) algorithms used by the gaming applications.
Platform Now Active Across Seven Venues
According to a company filing released on Thursday, the gaming platform is now live at seven venues located in Parañaque, Calamba, Laguna, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.
The current rollout includes 27 gaming titles, with plans to increase the portfolio to 56 games before the end of 2026.
Between April and June, the deployed platform generated approximately HK$45 million (US$5.7 million) in net winnings. WPT has also committed to a HK$100 million revenue guarantee covering a 15-month period.
The company said these results demonstrate continued progress in expanding its operations within the Philippine regulated gaming market.
Additional Expansion Opportunities
Century Entertainment is also exploring another opportunity in the Philippines through its subsidiary, NobleMind Technology Ltd.
The company revealed that NobleMind has been invited by a Philippine partner to acquire a 5% to 10% stake in a newly licensed PAGCOR entity.
Century Entertainment stated that the invitation reflects the joint venture’s technology capabilities and NobleMind’s operational experience under a publicly listed parent company.
Due diligence on the proposed investment is currently underway, with the transaction expected to be completed in July 2026.
Strategic Shift Beyond Cambodia
The company’s focus on the Philippines follows the end of its previous gaming table operations in Cambodia’s Dara Sakor casino, an agreement that concluded last year.
Century Entertainment has also indicated interest in expanding into Vietnam. In late 2025, the company announced that it had signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore potential table-game operations there.
Previously known as Amax International Holdings, Century Entertainment has gradually shifted its business strategy after its earlier involvement in Macau’s junket sector under chairman and chief executive Ng Man Sun.
