DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has rolled out a new prediction-based campaign on its ArenaPlus sportsbook, launching a PHP1 billion Prediction Giveaway designed to boost engagement in the Philippines’ online betting market. The promotion, which began on March 21, is structured as a free-to-play experience linked to professional basketball playoffs.

The campaign introduces a bracket-style format to local users, a system widely recognized in the United States but not previously adapted for the Philippine market. Participants are invited to predict the outcome of the entire playoff tournament, from the early rounds through to the final stage, creating a continuous engagement model.

According to DigiPlus, the initiative is intended to strengthen both user acquisition and retention by offering a competitive yet accessible experience that does not require any financial commitment. The bracket structure encourages ongoing participation throughout the duration of the playoffs rather than limiting activity to isolated matches.

ArenaPlus Head Erick Su explained that the feature adds a new dimension to fan interaction, allowing users to remain involved across the entire tournament. He emphasized that the free-to-play format focuses on entertainment while maintaining the excitement of competition.

Marketing Head Hannah Bagui added that the campaign aligns with the platform’s broader goal of delivering more immersive and rewarding digital sports experiences for users.

The launch also forms part of DigiPlus’ wider strategy to expand its footprint in the increasingly competitive Philippine online sportsbook sector. By integrating interactive elements with major sporting events, the company aims to differentiate its offering and deepen user engagement.

Alongside the promotion, DigiPlus highlighted its compliance framework, noting that participation is supported by electronic Know Your Customer processes and responsible gaming tools. These include features that allow users to manage playtime, set limits and control spending.
