IDX to Power Westside Resort Casino Displays

IDX has secured an agreement to deploy its X-Trend system at Westside Resort, a new development in Manila’s Entertainment City, with the rollout set to cover 250 gaming tables ahead of the property’s opening later this year.

The installation will see all gaming tables equipped with IDX’s display technology and software, aimed at creating a distinctive visual environment across the casino floor. The system is designed to enhance the overall presentation while helping the venue differentiate itself from competing properties.

The deal follows an evaluation process carried out by the Westside team, which included testing various solutions and assessing leading display technologies before selecting IDX.

Westside Resort Chief Gaming Officer Rhoda Lopez said preparations have focused on delivering a high-quality gaming experience, noting that IDX’s solution stood out for both its visual performance and ability to be tailored to the property’s requirements. She added that the system aligns closely with the resort’s vision for its gaming floor.

According to IDX, the X-Trend system’s technical framework was a key factor in its selection. The platform offers centralized control, enabling operators to manage and update displays across the casino floor efficiently.

The system is also designed to integrate with the smart table technology planned for the resort, supporting seamless data flow and improving usability for both players and staff.

Peter Johns, Chief Commercial Officer at IDX Games Ltd, said the agreement reflects the company’s focus on delivering high-quality casino technology, adding that Westside Resort represents a forward-looking project suited to the capabilities of the X-Trend system.

As Westside Resort moves closer to launch, the integration of IDX’s technology will form a core part of its gaming floor setup, providing a unified display solution for its 250-table operation in Entertainment City.
