Nordic.Partners Launches NPG With CS2 Team Acquisition

Nordic.Partners has expanded into the esports sector by introducing Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG), marking its first move beyond affiliate marketing and highlighting a broader strategy to grow within competitive gaming.

The new division launches with the acquisition of AM Gaming’s Counter-Strike 2 roster, which will now compete under the NPG name following a complete rebrand and the rollout of a new commercial model.

The announcement also coincides with the company's transition to Nordic.Partners Group, with the esports business representing the first stage of its wider expansion plans.

Bringing iGaming Expertise Into Esports

NPG aims to address one of the long-standing challenges in esports: turning strong audiences and engaged fan communities into sustainable commercial businesses.

Rather than concentrating solely on competitive success, the company plans to strengthen the business side of esports by applying its experience from the iGaming industry.

Its established iGaming network is expected to support the new venture by creating commercial opportunities for esports teams and content creators while connecting betting industry knowledge with competitive gaming.

The leadership team reflects this direction. Fabian Broich has been appointed Director of NPG after more than ten years in professional esports, while Havard L. joins the board, bringing 15 years of experience from the iGaming sector.

Counter-Strike Team Starts Under New Identity

The newly acquired Counter-Strike 2 roster joins NPG after making significant progress in the global rankings, climbing from outside the world's top 200 to the top 60 in just a few months.

The organisation sees that improvement as the foundation for future growth rather than the end goal. Recent additions to the lineup are expected to temporarily impact the team's ranking before it begins another push up the standings.

Instead of focusing on immediate results, Nordic.Partners says the project is designed as a long-term investment centred on stable leadership, player development and sustainable commercial expansion.
