Paribu Integrates Polymarket Prediction Markets
Turkey’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Paribu, has introduced direct access to Polymarket prediction markets within its platform, allowing users to participate through an integrated self-custody wallet without relying on separate decentralized finance applications.
The feature became available on 1 July and forms part of a broader update that also adds perpetual contracts from Hyperliquid, expanding the exchange’s product offering beyond traditional spot cryptocurrency trading.
Easier Access to Decentralized Trading
Paribu has integrated decentralized market access directly into its existing interface, eliminating several of the technical steps commonly associated with Web3 services.
Users no longer need to install an external wallet, manage recovery phrases, register additional accounts or obtain separate funds for blockchain transaction fees. Instead, trading is carried out through the exchange’s built-in self-custody wallet while transactions continue to be executed and settled on-chain.
The platform combines its ColdShield infrastructure with Clave's passkey authentication to provide access to decentralized products while allowing users to retain control of their digital assets.
Limited Selection of Prediction Markets
Not every Polymarket contract is available through the Turkish platform.
Paribu reviews contracts before making them accessible, considering factors such as liquidity, credibility and overall risk. The exchange has also excluded several categories entirely, including sports, esports and Turkish political markets, reflecting the country's regulations surrounding online betting and gambling.
Available contracts focus primarily on topics including international politics, economic developments and broader global events.
Paribu has stated that access to prediction markets is provided through its embedded decentralized wallet rather than being offered as part of its regulated exchange services.
Expansion Beyond Cryptocurrency
The launch comes as cryptocurrency trading continues to attract significant retail participation in Turkey. During the first quarter of 2026, retail crypto trading in the country reached approximately US$40 billion, placing Turkey among the world's most active digital asset markets.
Paribu is also preparing to broaden its services beyond cryptocurrency. The company has already received preliminary approval from Turkey’s Capital Markets Board and is awaiting a final operating licence that would allow customers to trade shares listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq and Borsa Istanbul through the same application.
While the company has not announced additional decentralized products, the latest integration highlights its continued effort to expand its financial services within a single platform.
