PhilWeb Partners with MegaWin for Casino Game Launch
PhilWeb Corp. plans to expand its gaming services in the Philippines through an exclusive agreement with international provider MegaWin, with the launch of digital casino games scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The offering will target major integrated casino resorts and domestic gaming platforms.
The partnership follows PhilWeb’s recent agreement to acquire a 30% interest in JKS for ₱4.23 billion. JKS also committed to a reciprocal investment worth ₱1.34 billion, establishing a financial relationship between the two companies alongside their collaboration in gaming services.
MegaWin Technology to Connect With Casino Systems
Under the agreement, PhilWeb will introduce MegaWin’s digital slot games to Philippine gaming operators. The provider’s software is designed to integrate with the backend systems already used by casinos and other gaming partners.
The planned deployment will support the online operations associated with properties such as Okada Manila, Newport World Resorts and NUSTAR. Compatibility with existing infrastructure is a key element of the arrangement, allowing MegaWin’s software to connect with partner networks.
Through the exclusive partnership, PhilWeb will add MegaWin’s digital slots to its portfolio of services for local operators. The rollout is expected in the final quarter of 2026 and will cover casino resorts and domestic gaming platforms.
MegaWin Agreement Follows PhilWeb–JKS Investment Deal
The new content partnership comes after PhilWeb and JKS announced their investment arrangements. PhilWeb’s planned acquisition of a 30% stake in JKS, together with JKS’s reciprocal ₱1.34 billion investment, provides the financial backdrop to the companies’ broader cooperation.
PhilWeb chair Lance Y. Gokongwei said the agreement with MegaWin represents a further step in the company’s long-term strategy to develop its technology-enabled gaming services. He also connected the latest deal with the momentum generated by the companies’ recent agreements.
JKS played a central role in securing the international provider for the domestic market. Its involvement brings MegaWin’s gaming content into PhilWeb’s service offering, complementing the existing investment relationship between the two companies.
The investment arrangements and the MegaWin partnership serve separate purposes. While the former concerns the financial ties between PhilWeb and JKS, the latter focuses on expanding the digital casino content available to Philippine operators.
Partnership to Expand Options for Licensed Operators
Gokongwei said the addition of another international gaming services provider through JKS would give licensed operators access to a wider and more diversified range of products.
The intended customer base spans integrated casino resorts and established domestic gaming platforms, rather than being restricted to an individual property. PhilWeb will facilitate access to MegaWin’s digital slot portfolio, with the software built to work with operators’ existing backend networks.
The agreement supports PhilWeb’s broader focus on technology-driven gaming services by adding another international content provider to its offering.
PhilWeb Faces Competition in Digital Gaming
The expansion comes as PhilWeb competes with other companies operating in the Philippines’ digital gaming sector. These include DigiPlus Interactive, identified as the market leader, and the revamped FunaloMax platform operated under Bloomberry Resorts, associated with Enrique Razon Jr.
Against this competitive backdrop, PhilWeb is pursuing growth through its investment relationship with JKS and its exclusive agreement with MegaWin. The planned rollout will extend its digital casino offering as gaming operators continue to compete in the Philippine market.
