Pinnacle Names Paloma Tocci Brazil Ambassador

Pinnacle has appointed Brazilian sports journalist Paloma Tocci as its new brand ambassador in Brazil, reinforcing its ambitions in one of the fastest-growing regulated betting markets globally.

The sportsbook said the collaboration forms part of its efforts to raise brand awareness and deepen relationships with Brazilian bettors through trusted media representation. Tocci, who appears on Jornal da Record, Esporte Record and the broadcaster’s football coverage, will act as the company’s public face in the country.

The agreement reflects the increasing importance of credibility, compliance and digital presence within Brazil’s maturing iGaming landscape.

Key Year for Football and Market Development

The announcement comes as Brazil approaches a major year in international football, with a global tournament expected to drive strong digital engagement among fans.

Speaking on the timing, Tocci highlighted the significance of the football calendar, noting that the betting sector is now fully regulated and integrated into the way Brazilians follow the sport.

Her comments underline how regulation has reshaped the relationship between operators, audiences and media outlets, encouraging partnerships built around transparency and responsible practices.

She also stressed the value of aligning with a globally established operator that has been active in more than 100 countries for over 25 years, reinforcing mutual credibility.

Focus on Online Engagement and Responsibility

Under the partnership, Tocci will participate in brand activations and public appearances while also leveraging her digital platforms to engage with fans. The collaboration is structured around strong online interaction, reflecting current consumption trends in Brazil.

In addition to promotional activities, she will support responsible gaming initiatives and educational messaging. Throughout 2026, Tocci is expected to front content projects centered on informed and balanced digital entertainment.

Álvaro Souza, Pinnacle’s CMO in Brazil, described the appointment as a strategic decision, citing Tocci’s experience and reputation in the national media landscape as key to strengthening engagement and promoting awareness around responsible gaming.

Established Career in Sports Broadcasting

A journalism graduate of FIAM-FAAM, Tocci has built a longstanding presence in Brazilian television. She spent more than two decades at Grupo Bandeirantes and hosted the Tocci Falando segment on BandNews FM before joining Record in 2024.

At Record, she took on a leadership role in sports programming and live football broadcasts, further solidifying her position as a prominent voice in Brazilian sports journalism.

Strengthening Position in a Regulated Market

The partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward credibility-driven collaborations as companies navigate Brazil’s evolving regulatory framework and increasing public scrutiny.

By combining global operational experience with strong local media influence, Pinnacle aims to reinforce its standing in the Brazilian market while supporting responsible participation in regulated betting.
