PokerStars Adds Octoplay Slots in Spain Launch
PokerStars has expanded its iGaming content offering in Spain by adding slot titles from supplier Octoplay, marking the studio’s debut in the country’s regulated online gambling market.
Through this integration, Octoplay’s portfolio of slot games is now available on PokerStars’ Spanish platform. The move builds on an existing collaboration between the two companies that is already active in several regulated jurisdictions, including the UK, Italy and Ontario. The addition supports PokerStars’ strategy to further develop its game catalogue within Spain’s regulated iGaming sector.
For Octoplay, the launch in Spain represents another milestone in its international expansion efforts. The supplier continues to grow its distribution network across regulated markets in Europe and North America. The company currently holds licences in several jurisdictions, including the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Malta and Romania, alongside North American markets such as New Jersey, Michigan and Ontario.
Octoplay has also been increasing its presence in the United States, where its titles have been introduced with several operators across regulated states. Recent industry rankings compiled by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming identified the company among emerging suppliers in the US iGaming market.
Spain’s regulated online gambling sector continues to attract new content providers as operators expand their platforms with games from international studios. The addition of Octoplay’s titles to PokerStars highlights the continued cooperation between suppliers and operators looking to broaden distribution across licensed markets while complying with local regulatory requirements.
Commenting on the launch, Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO of Octoplay, described the Spanish rollout with PokerStars as an important step in the company’s European expansion plans. She noted that the companies have already established a successful partnership in markets such as the UK, Italy and Ontario and expressed confidence that Octoplay’s games will appeal to players in Spain.
