Polymarket Partners With GRID for Esports Data
Polymarket has entered into a partnership with GRID to enhance its esports prediction markets through the integration of official data, live streaming and real-time match information.
As part of the agreement, GRID’s data services and visualisation technology will be incorporated into Polymarket’s platform, enabling users to follow live broadcasts, access in-game statistics and monitor market movements from a single interface.
GRID gathers official real-time esports data through agreements with major game publishers and tournament organisers, including Riot Games, EFG, BLAST and Ubisoft. The integration is designed to provide faster access to match information while supporting the creation and settlement of esports prediction markets.
The newly launched esports hub is already available and arrives ahead of major competitions such as CS2 IEM Cologne, VALORANT Masters London and the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational.
Through the collaboration, Polymarket expands its esports offering with official data and streaming functionality, while GRID extends the reach of its services into the prediction market space.
Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, said the partnership improves the user experience by combining official data, low-latency information and live streaming access within one destination for esports traders.
Moritz Maurer, CEO of GRID, noted that reliable and fast information is essential for trading environments, adding that the integration brings together official data and live match coverage to create a dedicated esports-focused experience for Polymarket users.
