Tonybet Renews Solonaway Stakes Sponsorship for 2026

Tonybet will sponsor the Group 2 Tonybet Solonaway Stakes at Leopardstown Racecourse for a third consecutive year, continuing its involvement with the 2026 Irish Champions Festival.

The race will take place on 12 September as part of the festival’s opening-day programme at Leopardstown. As sponsor, Tonybet will receive branding at the racecourse and will present a bespoke trophy to the winning connections.

The trophy presentation will be carried out by former Republic of Ireland international Tony Cascarino. He will also participate in a question-and-answer session with racegoers during the meeting.

The Tonybet Solonaway Stakes is among the supporting races on a card led by the Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes. The two-day festival will continue on 13 September at The Curragh with the Irish St Leger meeting.

The renewed sponsorship further strengthens Tonybet’s connection with Irish horse racing and forms part of the operator’s wider sports marketing activity.

The Irish Champions Festival is entering its 13th year and will feature more than €5m in prize money across the two days. The meeting is expected to attract horses from both Ireland and international markets.

Dmitry Arabuli, CEO of Tonybet, said Irish racing has a particularly strong following and highlighted Leopardstown’s role on the festival’s opening day.
