BetMGM Launches SURVIVOR Casino Games with Jogo Global
BetMGM has entered into a partnership with Jogo Global and Banijay Rights to launch a series of SURVIVOR-themed online casino games on its igaming platform. The deal grants BetMGM exclusive rights to develop titles based on the well-known television franchise and coincides with the broadcast of the show’s 50th season.
Through the agreement, BetMGM and Jogo Global will collaborate to produce at least ten games inspired by the SURVIVOR intellectual property. The titles will be released through BetMGM Casino in regulated North American markets and will be supported by marketing and promotional campaigns tied to the partnership.
The first two titles, Survivor Triple Challenge and Survivor – Outwit – Outplay – Outlast, were introduced on the platform this week. Further releases are scheduled throughout March, with the franchise expected to become a longer-term part of BetMGM’s portfolio of exclusive igaming content.
Banijay Rights, the distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment, oversees the global licensing rights for the SURVIVOR brand and played a role in facilitating the collaboration. The television format, originally created by Charlie Parsons, is one of the most widely distributed reality programmes worldwide, with more than 50 international versions and over 400 seasons broadcast across different markets.
BetMGM provides online casino and sports betting services across several regulated jurisdictions in North America. Its casino platform features more than 7,000 games from various suppliers and includes a progressive jackpot network covering more than 25 titles, such as MGM Grand Millions, Bison Fury and 15 Lanterns.
Players using the BetMGM Casino platform can also earn BetMGM Rewards Points and Tier Credits while playing, which can be redeemed for digital bonuses or converted into other loyalty programmes, including MGM Rewards Points and Marriott Bonvoy Points.
Alongside the launch of new branded content, BetMGM highlighted its ongoing focus on responsible gambling. The operator incorporates GameSense, a responsible gaming programme developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and licensed to MGM Resorts, across its mobile and desktop platforms.
SURVIVOR is hosted by Jeff Probst and produced by S.E.G. Holdco., LLC. The show’s executive producers include Mark Burnett, Jeff Probst, Matt Van Wagenen, Kahaia Pearson and Jesse Jensen, while international distribution is handled by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming at BetMGM, said the partnership reflects the operator’s strategy to expand its entertainment-focused casino offering.
“SURVIVOR is one of the most successful reality franchises in television history” Bartlett said. “Bringing exclusive SURVIVOR content to our players underscores BetMGM’s commitment to building a legendary powerhouse of entertainment. The show’s instantly recognizable brand and competitive spirit make SURVIVOR a pillar in our growing portfolio of exclusive content.”
Mark Woollard, SVP Gaming and Gambling at Banijay Rights, noted that the partnership builds on the company’s relationship with Jogo Global.
“Jogo is a trusted global partner of Banijay Rights with multiple licenses from our catalogue, so it’s fantastic that they’ve partnered with BetMGM for the North American release of our SURVIVOR IP content,” he said. “With the release of SURVIVOR’s 50th season this year, we are looking forward to seeing fans finally being able to engage in SURVIVOR casino content.”
David Marcus, CEO of Jogo, added that the collaboration combines a well-known entertainment franchise with BetMGM’s gaming platform.
“As SURVIVOR enters its landmark 50th season, the combination of one of the most iconic franchises in entertainment and the powerhouse that is BetMGM is a perfect match” Marcus said. “We’re proud to help bring the strategy, intensity and competitive spirit of SURVIVOR into real-money gameplay in a way that feels authentic to the brand and compelling for U.S. players.”
