BMM Testlabs Approved for Santa Fe Online Gaming Market

The province of Santa Fe Province in Argentina has taken another step toward strengthening its regulated online gaming and sports betting market, with BMM Testlabs receiving official approval to provide testing services for gaming systems in the region.

BMM Testlabs Approved for Market Entry

The authorization was granted by Caja de Asistencia Social – Lotería de Santa Fe, allowing BMM Testlabs to deliver testing and certification services to operators and suppliers operating within the province’s regulated framework. The move supports the development of new online betting platforms under Santa Fe’s regulatory structure.

A representative from BMM Testlabs noted that the approval represents another milestone in the company’s efforts to support regulated gaming markets throughout Latin America. The company emphasised its commitment to working closely with regulators to ensure gaming systems meet strict standards for fairness, security and compliance while assisting operators as the market continues to expand.

Licensing Tender for Online Betting

Authorities in Santa Fe Province have previously confirmed that a tender process for online sports betting licences will be held in March. The process, overseen by Lotería de Santa Fe, will be open to international applicants, aiming to attract multiple qualified operators to run online gaming platforms in the province.

Companies interested in participating were required to submit applications to the Subsecretaría de Contrataciones y Gestión de Bienes at the province’s Civic Center before the March 2 deadline. Unlike many other regulated markets, Santa Fe has not imposed a cap on the number of licences available.

Operators granted licences will be required to pay a minimum royalty of 15% of gross revenue. Licences will be valid for up to ten years, with the possibility of a two-year extension subject to regulatory approval.

Strengthening Market Integrity

By authorising BMM Testlabs to operate in the province, the government aims to ensure that gaming platforms comply with strict standards related to safety, fairness and transparency. Independent testing laboratories play a critical role in verifying that gaming systems operate correctly and meet regulatory requirements.

The decision also reflects a broader regional trend, as regulators across Latin America increasingly rely on certified testing laboratories to maintain integrity and transparency in online gaming and sports betting markets.

Future Outlook

Officials have reiterated their intention to build a responsible and well-regulated online gaming environment in Santa Fe Province. The introduction of independent testing services is expected to support the province’s long-term strategy of developing a transparent and compliant digital gaming ecosystem.
