DBET Appoints Dahlquist, Launches Podcast
DBET has appointed Swedish broadcaster Jonas Dahlquist as Content Producer while unveiling a new football podcast centred on the Allsvenskan.
Dahlquist will oversee the creation of original programming, digital formats and social media output tailored to Swedish sports audiences. His recruitment forms part of DBET’s broader content-led approach as it strengthens its footprint in Sweden’s igaming and sportsbook landscape.
Beginning his media career in 2002, Dahlquist has covered domestic and international football, including Sweden’s top division and major global tournaments. His experience spans commentary and presenting roles across both national competitions and international leagues.
Coinciding with his arrival, DBET has launched a weekly show titled All in Allsvenskan. The podcast is co-hosted by Dahlquist alongside former Sweden internationals Anders Svensson and Nils-Eric Johansson. Svensson earned 148 caps for the Swedish national team and represented clubs including IF Elfsborg and Southampton, while Johansson captained AIK, making over 370 appearances, and also played in England with Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City.
The programme reviews weekly fixtures in Sweden’s top flight, offering match analysis and commentary on league developments. Guest contributors from across Swedish football are also set to appear. Episodes will be released every Wednesday at 15:00 CET across platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Podplay.
DBET, which launched in August 2024, operates both an online platform and a retail network exceeding 530 betting terminals. The addition of editorial and audio content aligns with a wider industry trend of operators incorporating sports-focused media initiatives to enhance engagement within competitive betting markets.
Svensson said he welcomed the opportunity to revisit the league where he won two titles, while Dahlquist highlighted growing public interest in Allsvenskan and the ambition to provide dedicated analysis for Swedish football audiences.
