Interblock’s Free Fall Roulette Approved in Macau

Interblock’s Free Fall Roulette has received approval from Macau’s casino regulator, bringing the product closer to its planned Asian debut in the city.

Vincent Tang, Interblock’s vice president of sales for Asia Pacific, confirmed that the product has received approval from Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).

Final Inspection Still Pending

The approval is currently on paper, with Interblock moving into the final phase of the process. This stage includes an official demonstration and inspection of the machines before they can be placed into operation on casino floors.

Tang said the company is coordinating the machine setup for the inspection. No operational launch date has been confirmed yet, as Interblock is waiting for further confirmation regarding the setup arrangements.

Once the inspection is completed successfully and all regulatory requirements have been met, the company will be able to proceed with installation.

If the process moves forward as planned, Macau will become the first gaming jurisdiction in Asia to launch Free Fall Roulette. Tang confirmed that the product has not yet been introduced in any other Asian gaming jurisdiction.

Free Fall Roulette Part of AMUSE Range

Free Fall Roulette forms part of Interblock’s AMUSE product line, which the supplier introduced in 2024. The range combines elements of electronic table games, slot play and live-table gaming in an arcade-style format.

The Free Fall Roulette game is delivered through Interblock’s Universal Cabinet and gives roulette a pinball-inspired format. Its gameplay uses a mechanism based on a Plinko-style ball drop.

The Macau approval represents another step toward bringing the AMUSE concept to the local market. Interblock is now preparing for the final inspection before the machines can be installed and made operational.

Interblock Names New CEO

Interblock also announced in late July that Kay Oswald had been appointed as its chief executive.

The leadership change comes as the company continues preparing to introduce products such as Free Fall Roulette in key markets.

For Macau, the timing of the product rollout will depend on the completion of the final inspection and coordination of the machine setup with operators.
