Play’n GO Launches Honey Rush Black and Yellow
Play’n GO has expanded its grid slot portfolio with the launch of Honey Rush Black and Yellow, a follow-up to Honey Rush 100. The new release combines high-volatility gameplay with the officially licensed track “Black and Yellow” by Wiz Khalifa.
The game moves away from traditional paylines, instead focusing on building large symbol combinations across a distinctive grid layout. Set on a 7-reel hexagonal grid, it uses a Cluster Pays mechanic where wins are formed by connecting five or more adjacent symbols.
Winning combinations contribute to a progressive RUSH meter, which activates features such as Drone, Worker and Queen Colony. These mechanics replicate the central symbol, allowing clusters to expand significantly, ranging from seven up to 37 symbols.
Additional gameplay elements include Walking Wilds with multipliers of up to 3x. These Wilds stick to the grid and shift position after each winning cascade. Meanwhile, non-winning Cash Symbols are collected by an animated Bee, which can randomly trigger an Instant Cash Bonus offering Mini, Minor, Major or Grand rewards.
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said that incorporating a well-known track like “Black and Yellow” required gameplay that matches its energy. He noted that the combination of the soundtrack, evolving RUSH meter and dynamic multipliers brings a new rhythm to the series.
Honey Rush Black and Yellow is now available, with a demo version accessible for players to explore the game.
