SkillOnNet Partners ClearStake for EDD Upgrade
SkillOnNet has partnered with ClearStake to enhance its enhanced due diligence (EDD) and source of funds procedures across its portfolio of igaming brands, including PlayOJO.
Through the agreement, SkillOnNet will introduce ClearStake’s bank-based verification technology, shifting away from manual and document-heavy checks towards real-time evaluations and automated workflows. The solution is designed to support compliance requirements while streamlining traditional verification processes.
ClearStake’s platform incorporates a data-driven intelligence layer tailored for igaming, allowing operators to determine when checks are required, what data is collected and how results are processed. This approach aims to deliver more consistent decision-making and improve operational efficiency within compliance functions.
The rollout is set to begin in the UK, with further expansion into additional regulated markets planned over time. The move reflects broader industry trends, as operators adapt to changing regulatory demands while seeking to optimise costs and maintain compliance standards.
The partnership follows a series of similar implementations of ClearStake’s technology among UK-facing operators, highlighting increasing adoption of automated verification tools within the sector.
Eyal Naor, COO of SkillOnNet, said: “Enhanced due diligence remains a key component of operating in regulated markets. ClearStake enables us to strengthen our controls while improving speed and consistency across the player experience.”
Martin Burt, CEO of ClearStake, added: “EDD presents both operational and risk-related challenges for operators. Our platform is designed to streamline these processes, enabling faster and more informed decisions without reliance on manual document checks.”
