Winning Asia Expands Into AI Robotics for Resorts

Winning Asia Technology Macau Ltd is expanding beyond its traditional gaming operations by introducing AI-powered robotics into its casino and integrated resort management offering. The Macau-based company has partnered with Hong Kong-based Aimo Robotics as an investor, creating a new business segment focused on artificial intelligence and automation.

The move was outlined by Winning Asia co-founder and CEO Alice Tang during the recent Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia in Macau. Tang described the initiative as a strategic extension of the company’s business, which has spent nearly two decades supplying gaming products and casino systems across Asian markets.

Aimo Robotics develops AI-enabled robots designed for both indoor and outdoor environments. While the technology has already been deployed in sectors outside gaming, Winning Asia and Aimo have worked together to create applications tailored for integrated resorts and casino properties.

The solutions include software capable of analysing data collected by mobile patrol robots, generating alerts and supporting facial recognition functions. According to Tang, these tools can assist operators with security and surveillance while also improving operational efficiency.

Beyond security tasks, the robots are designed to serve multiple functions within resort environments. While patrolling shopping areas or public spaces, they can display promotional content and advertisements on built-in screens. Certain models are also capable of interacting with visitors by responding to spoken questions, allowing them to perform basic concierge-style services.

Tang noted that the company intends to further develop the AI-driven backend platform to help resort operators extract broader insights from data gathered by the robots. The long-term objective is to expand the use of the technology beyond security-related applications and support a wider range of operational functions.

The robotics initiative complements Winning Asia’s existing gaming business, which includes casino management systems and products marketed under the AGT brand. The company also distributes content and gaming solutions from manufacturers such as LT Game Ltd, Gambee d.o.o., Euro Games Technology Ltd and Jackpot Digital Inc.

Alongside its technology showcase at G2E Asia, Winning Asia also introduced AGT FishKing 8, a new multiplayer fishing game designed for up to eight participants at the same time.

The title combines gaming and entertainment elements, allowing players to use virtual weapons to target fish while operators can adjust payout settings and betting options. Tang said fishing games continue to perform well across Asian markets due to their simple gameplay and appeal to both gamblers and casual visitors.

She added that the vibrant graphics, sound effects and animated features have attracted significant attention from attendees and potential customers.

Looking ahead, Winning Asia is also exploring ways to attract a broader demographic. Tang explained that traditional casino products such as baccarat and slot machines tend to appeal strongly to players aged between 40 and 50, while the company is now evaluating new concepts and features designed to engage younger audiences.

Through its latest developments, Winning Asia is broadening its focus across gaming equipment, entertainment products and AI-powered resort management technologies while continuing to diversify its offering for casino operators.
