Superbet Launches in Greece with Sportsbook & Casino
Super Technologies has officially launched its Superbet brand in Greece, offering both sportsbook and online casino services after receiving regulatory approval from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
The launch introduces a full sportsbook alongside casino content, operated by a locally based team. This move is part of Super Technologies’ wider strategy to expand across Central and Southern Europe, focusing on growth in regulated markets.
Greece’s igaming and betting market has seen steady growth, generating around €1.2 billion in annual gross gaming revenue, with forecasts estimating a rise to €1.5 billion in the near term. The market is regulated and competitive, with multiple operators vying for sportsbook and online casino players.
Superbet enters the Greek market alongside established operators such as Stoiximan, bringing a fresh option for players. The platform’s debut underscores the ongoing competition as brands work to capture market share across both betting and casino verticals.
The launch follows Super Technologies’ regional expansion, including its acquisition of MaxBet, which strengthened its presence in Romania, Serbia and Malta. Greece represents a key market in the group’s long-term regional growth plans, with a focus on tailored sportsbook and igaming experiences delivered by local teams.
Adam Lamentowicz, Chief Commercial Officer for CEE at Super Technologies, said the company’s entry into Greece reflects a commitment to creating “the most engaging entertainment ecosystem” in the country, combining innovative products with a strong focus on community and shared player experiences.Panagiotis Skyrlas, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, added that Superbet aims to set new benchmarks for responsibility, integrity and player protection, competing with existing operators while contributing to innovation and higher industry standards.
